Conversations at Lunch

--you know what Isabella?
--what?
--you're my special girl

--mommy, does Little Bear go to the bathroom?
--yeah, they just don't show his potty
--but he doesn't have a bottom
--he has a bottom, they just don't show him going to the bathroom
--well, I've never seen him go poop
--I know, that would be kind of yucky
--well, do mermaids poop?
--yes, everybody poops
--well, when I'm a mermaid will I poop?
--you probably will

Several people have asked me if Isabella has seen the movie The Little Mermaid or watched Disney movies about princesses. The answer is no, I have no idea where she got the whole obsession with princesses from and the mermaid is from Little Bear and Dora episodes.

--mommy, the bath is really stinky
--did you have gas?
--yeah

Isabella went to Vacation Bible School last Friday evening and Saturday morning. After she got home I said,
--Isabella, did you learn that God made you?!
--a SUPERSTAR!?
--um, I guess


These are pictures of Isabella in her "wedding dress" as she calls it. She insisted that we take two dresses to the wedding so that she could wear one for the actual ceremony and one for the "wedding party".
