I had this post with just the pictures, up on the computer screen and Walter scrolled through and said, "you have so many pictures of Stella, it looks like you love your dog more than your kids." Well, yesterday that may have been an accurate observation. JUST KIDDING! Geez. She definitely has her pros though. If there's anyone around here who doesn't complain, whine, question everything I do, make me feel guilty about not getting things done, require multiple appointments each week, refuse to eat the meal I prepared...you guessed it, it's Stella. She's the best. She just loves me, plain and simple. And she almost always eats the meals I prepare.
"Stella threw up on Isaac's bed last night."
"Why does she keep throwing up?!"
"Well, if you ate a diaper every day, you'd probably throw up too."
That was one of the bonuses of using cloth diapers with Isabella, Stella went a couple years without eating a diaper.
When I get lucky, Isaac falls asleep in his high chair. And he does this creepy thing where he keep his eyes slightly open when he sleeps, just like Walter.
Walter and I were watching Isaac sleep and agreed that he is looking more like a boy than a baby these days. I'm so thankful for that. We've worked really hard to get this point. To leave babyhood behind and embrace the toddler years. It's exciting, and he's making great strides.
Isabella likes to take pictures. And for Jesse, that's the Memorial Mustang shirt. I was hoping Isabella would feature it for the picture, but she didn't stand back far enough.
We took the kids on an impromptu trip to the zoo. Isaac thought the animals were putting on a comedy show just for him. It was hilarious.
Isaac had his two year check up. He was sitting on the exam table, pointed to his tube and said, "Eee" (eat). Um, yeah, but you can eat with your mouth too. Everything looks great. He weighs 20 pounds (finally), maybe a pound of that is hair, but that's okay. His doctor was watching him play and said, "he's going to be an very interesting little guy." No doubt.
Isabella is very into bugs and claims that she friends with all bugs. She sat watching this bug crawl on her finger with a look on her face as if it were her newly born child.
Here's my food thief...
Isn't she beautiful?
She tried to smile.
I like how Isaac and Stella have virtually the same expression.
Yay for Isabella's bug-love! Maya would have cried A LOT if a bug was on her finger.
ReplyDeleteI love the carousel pictures and the ones of Isaac at the zoo :D
